To improve our platform and gather user feedback, we may send you automated emails:

• Feedback Request: Approximately 72 hours after you verify your email and use our platform, we may send a one-time email inviting you to share your experience and suggestions. You will only receive this email once.
• Purchase Confirmation: When you purchase Toolkit credits, we will send you a confirmation email with details of your purchase.
• Opt-out: You can ignore the email, or contact us at privacy@nevira.ai to opt out of future feedback communications.

These emails are sent via Resend, our email delivery provider. Your name and email address are used solely to personalize and deliver these messages.

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active
• Voice Recordings: Deleted immediately after processing (not stored long-term)
• Purchase History: Retained for tax and accounting purposes
• Deletion Requests: Processed within 30 days
• School Access Data: Retained for verification and audit purposes

To provide our services, we share data with trusted third-party AI providers:

• Hume AI: Voice processing, transcription, and emotional analysis
• Google Gemini: Interview question generation, personalized feedback, and resume analysis
• Supabase: Database storage and authentication
• Resend: Email delivery for notifications and support
• Stripe: Payment processing for Toolkit purchases

All sub-processors are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for services provided to us.

All Toolkit purchases are processed through Stripe, a secure payment processor. We do not store your credit card or payment details. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

In compliance with BIPA and CCPA regulations:

• Not Used for Identification: Voice data is analyzed for speech patterns and emotional tone only — it is not used to identify you personally.
• Explicit Consent: By starting a voice interview, you provide express consent for recording and processing.
• Data Deletion: Voice recordings are not stored permanently. Only transcripts and anonymized tone analysis are retained for feedback purposes.

During voice interview sessions, Hume AI analyzes your speech patterns in real-time to detect voice characteristics such as tone, energy, and speech patterns. This analysis:

• Identifies the predominant tone of your voice (e.g., confident, contemplative, calm)
• Counts how frequently different tones appear throughout your session
• Is displayed in your feedback as "Emotion Analysis" to help you understand your vocal delivery
• Is not used to make decisions about you — it is purely for your self-improvement

We do not share individual voice analysis data with third parties.

Depending on your location (e.g., California, EU), you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your data ("Right to be Forgotten")
• Opt-out: Decline marketing communications
• Data Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
